About Dr Aris LaTham:
Dr. Aris has been a strict vegetarian for 41 years and a living-‘raw’ foodist for 35 years. His career as a Sunfired Food scientist, linguist and educator can be traced back to his ancestral legacy. Born in Gatun Panama Canal Zone, he is the direct descendent of an African-Caribbean family of culinary griots. He’s followed in the footsteps of his mother and grandmother who were living examples, always buying fresh whole foods from local farmer’s markets, cooking and preparing family favorites, and even placing the entire family on weekly fasting regimens. After immigrating to the U.S. and experiencing the American way of life and consumption, Aris rejected the Standard American Diet (SAD) and became a vegan and ultimately a vegan raw foodist.
