A 5-day Seminar on Health Tourism Development will be held in Dubai between 12 and 16 October, 2008.
Editor's Remarks: Dr. Constantinides, MD, PhD is the Consultant to the World Health Tourism Congress. He provides analysis and strategic thought for a number of governmental and non-governmental organizations and agencies around the world. He also provides the same services to private sector Healthcare organizations. He is a frequent contributor to the development of health & wellness tourism in Jamaica and is an Advisory Board Member of Positive Tourism Limited.

The Seminar will be conducted by Dr. Constantine Constantinides, MD, PhD (Chief Executive of healthCare cybernetics, a think and do thank with an internationally recognized competence in Health Tourism Domain Integration and Development). The UAE has for some time been engaged in concerted and isolated actions aimed at developing the country into a top league Health Tourism Destination. The national will to achieve its objective was further demonstrated by the announcement (in August 2008) that a special department has been created within the Ministry of Health to focus solely on developing the medical tourism sector. The event dovetails with the scheduled implementation of concerted actions related to the Health Tourism Development Strategy.
