Jamaican Delegation Promotes Health Tourism development in Panama Print E-mail

A Jamaican delegation of wellness practitioners and event producers have been invited to Panama by Group D-1 (S.A.), a destination management company to promote health tourism at a Breast Cancer Awareness Conference to be held October 17, 2009 in Panama City. The delegation will be in Panama from October 13, 2009 to October 24, 2009. "Despite significant scientific breakthroughs and renewed efforts, the war on cancer is being lost. One in five of us will be diagnosed with cancer during our lifetime."

This brief introduction represents a sample of the opening presentation of Naturopath, Dr Ted Emanuel, special guest presenter at the Breast Cancer awareness Conference to be held in Panama, S.A. October 17, 2009. The event produced by Group D1 (S.A.), a destination management group based in Panama, will be the first of its kind to promote Health Tourism in Panama. Group D-1 (S.A.) intends to push the envelope and surge ahead to explore the production of VeggieFest, Spa and Wellness Conference in Panama next year.

Joining Dr Emanuel will be Dr Aris Latham, food scientist and gourmet raw food master chef who will be presenting on the same platform.  
Dr. Latham will also be facilitating a Raw Food Gourmet Workshop at the renowned Cerro Brujo Restaurant in Volcan, Chiriqui on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
